One-to-One Consent (TCPA)

Also known as: 1:1 consent, one-to-one TCPA consent, single-seller consent

One-to-one consent is a TCPA compliance standard requiring that a consumer's prior express written consent to receive autodialed or prerecorded calls and texts be obtained specifically for a single, identified seller, rather than bundled across multiple advertisers or lead buyers. In mass tort lead generation, this standard directly affects how co-registration forms, comparison sites, and third-party lead vendors must structure their consent disclosures before passing a claimant lead to a plaintiff law firm. Firms purchasing leads must verify that the originating consent language names their firm or that the lead generator obtained consent on their behalf, or risk TCPA exposure when conducting intake follow-up outreach.
