Also known as: lead vendor, lead reseller, lead aggregator
A lead broker is a third-party intermediary that acquires potential claimant leads—typically through its own media buys or aggregator networks—and resells them to plaintiff law firms or mass tort advertising agencies, often on a per-lead or revenue-share basis. Unlike a direct media buyer, the broker does not represent a single firm exclusively and may sell the same lead to multiple buyers unless an exclusivity agreement is in place. In mass tort campaigns, lead quality and exclusivity terms are critical negotiating points, as co-registered or resold leads frequently exhibit lower retention and sign rates than leads generated through a firm's dedicated media spend.
Mass Tort Ad Agency manages claimant-acquisition campaigns built on the concepts in this glossary — transparent cost-plus-15% pricing, in-house CloudIntake qualification, and chain-of-custody on every signed retainer. See the torts we run or book a strategy call.
